Mozilla released Firefox 159 for Windows, Android, macOS and Linux. According to ZDNET, the update fixes 167 security bugs. Of these, 108 are rated high severity, and the rest are rated moderate or low.
ZDNET reports that almost 100 of the Firefox bugs are use-after-free (UAF) vulnerabilities. An attacker could exploit these memory management flaws to crash the browser or run malicious code. Several Firefox bugs also reference the browser's Sandbox, which could let attackers break through its protected area.
