Binance CEO says 90 percent of stolen assets have been replenished.

Binance CEO Richard Teng said the exchange has replaced about 90 percent of the $6.3 billion in crypto stolen from Binance users in a record-breaking heist, according to a post on X. The company plans to cover the remaining 10 percent as well. The report says Binance is covering the stolen funds directly. It describes the remaining portion as "less liquid" tokens that may take longer to acquire.

The company also said in the post that withdrawals remain paused and are on track to reopen on Sunday, 2026-11-01. Binance said it will provide a further update once details are confirmed.
